The 2025 edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Città di Mantova was held at Villa Schiarino and featured a curated selection of 23 historic vehicles. Organized by the Club 8Volanti Tazio Nuvolari with the support of ACI Mantova and Club ACI Storico, the event marked its tenth year and continued its focus on the preservation and appreciation of classic automotive design.
Vehicles arrived at the villa in the morning, where a jury evaluated them on the basis of design, technical features, historical significance, and rarity. Among the jury members was Andreas Scheidl, founder and chief editor of carrozzieri-italiani.com.
The program included a technical lecture by Lancia specialist Paolo Balordi, followed by the public parade of vehicles through the gardens of Villa Schiarino.
The oldest car present was a 1930 Fiat 525 Sport Spider, awarded for its historical importance. Other notable entries included a 1929 Dodge Brothers, a 1958 Jaguar XK150 Coupé, and a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider 1600. The prestigious “Best of Show” award went to Giovanni Butti’s 1958 Mercedes 300 SL Roadster. The jury award was presented to Remo Roncarati’s 1929 Dodge Brothers.
Participants and visitors from Mantova and beyond attended the event, underscoring its regional and national appeal. Vehicles were categorized by type and production year, with awards given in each class.
The 2025 Concorso offered a comprehensive display of automotive history, highlighting craftsmanship, innovation, and the cultural significance of classic vehicles across seven decades.
