The fourth edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car, an international event dedicated to classic cars and part of the FIVA calendar, will take place on September 28 in the picturesque village of Revigliasco Torinese. The centerpiece of the event will be the legendary Lancia Flaminia Loraymo (1960), an iconic design crafted by the renowned American designer Raymond Loewy.
The official poster for the 2025 edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car was recently unveiled, featuring the silhouette of the Lancia Flaminia Loraymo, a unique custom version of the Flaminia Coupé. This captivating image will not only be present on the event’s materials but also in person, as the car itself will be showcased live during the festival. The poster was a result of a creative competition held in collaboration with IED Torino, where Mercedes Alazraki’s 1960s-inspired concept emerged as the winning design.
A Showcase of Automotive Heritage
The Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car 2025 will be hosted in Revigliasco Torinese, a historic village surrounded by the hills of Turin, and will include a parade of vintage cars through the town’s historic center. The event will also feature a visit to the Heritage Hub in Turin, home to over 300 classic cars, including rally legends like the Lancia Fulvia, Stratos, 037, and Delta.
The Heritage Hub, located in the industrial complex of Mirafiori, offers an immersive journey into automotive history. Among its highlights is the Lancia Flaminia Loraymo itself, presented in the ‘Concepts and Fuoriserie’ section, showcasing its sleek, aerodynamic design and distinctive chrome grille.
Revival of the Lancia Spirit
In addition to celebrating its heritage, Lancia is set to make a triumphant return to motorsport with the New Ypsilon Rally4 HF. The brand, historically linked to rally success, will introduce this new model at the Rally Regione Piemonte in Alba from April 11 to 13, featuring the Lancia Corse HF Village as the hub for enthusiasts. The event will also include a gathering of 25 historic Lancia cars and an opportunity to test the latest Ypsilon HF, a high-performance electric model designed to combine speed and sustainability.
The Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car 2025 will officially begin on September 26 with a guided tour of the Royal Castle of Moncalieri, followed by an exclusive visit to the Heritage Hub and the Regina Montis Regalis Sanctuary. The event will culminate on September 28 with the Concours d’Elegance, where vintage cars will take center stage, offering a glimpse into Lancia’s legacy intertwined with innovation and style.
A Testament to Design and Passion
The Lancia Flaminia Loraymo, designed by Raymond Loewy, is a masterpiece of mid-20th-century automotive art. Crafted for personal use, the car was built by Italian coachbuilder Rocco Motto, with mechanical improvements made by Nardi, boosting the V6 engine’s power to 150 horsepower. The car’s unique features, such as its smiling chrome grille and aerodynamic enhancements, are a testament to Loewy’s forward-thinking vision.
Today, the Loraymo is part of Stellantis Heritage’s prestigious collection and serves as a symbol of Lancia’s ongoing journey, blending tradition with modernity. With the upcoming Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car 2025, Lancia fans and classic car enthusiasts will have the rare chance to witness this iconic piece of automotive history firsthand.
