Celebrating the Art of Italian Coachbuilding

Dacora EV

The Dacora designed in collaboration with Pininfarina.

Vehicle Overview

The Dacora is an ultra-luxury electric automobile unveiled in 2025 by Dacora Motors, a privately held American manufacturer headquartered in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. Conceived as a limited-production, hand-built vehicle, the Dacora draws aesthetic influence from early-20th-century streamliner sedans. The car features a long bonnet, rear wheel covers, a sloping fastback roofline, and prominent circular headlamps. It is constructed on a purpose-built EV platform. The bodywork is composed of composite and metal panels shaped in a design language broadly consistent with the streamline moderne period of the 1930s. The car was publicly described by the manufacturer as being designed in collaboration with the Italian design house Pininfarina. As of mid-2025, Pininfarina has not publicly confirmed its participation in the project through its official channels. The design attribution therefore remains unverified. The powertrain consists exclusively of electric propulsion. The manufacturer has stated a dual-motor configuration producing approximately 800 horsepower. Battery capacity and chemical composition have not been formally published, though stated range targets approximately 400 miles on a single charge. All-wheel drive is standard. No internal combustion engine is present. A hybrid version has been mentioned in promotional materials but has not been formally detailed or offered for order. The interior is made entirely without synthetic plastic surfaces. Materials include domestic hardwoods, wool, linen, and various forms of treated animal and plant-derived leather. A central infotainment display is present but obscured beneath a wood fascia when not in use. Switchgear consists of mechanical controls, and instrumentation is analog or semi-analog in character. The car is available in multiple seating configurations, including 3-, 4-, and 7-passenger variants. Custom features offered include refrigerated compartments, humidors, espresso preparation units, a biometric lockbox, and in at least one version, a horticultural display under glass. Initial production is undertaken at the Hudson Valley Garage, a vertically integrated design and fabrication facility. No total production figures have been published. No publicly documented chassis numbers or owners have been disclosed as of the present. Unit pricing begins at approximately $500,000. First deliveries are anticipated no earlier than late 2026.
