The Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale is a concept car built in 1966 by Pininfarina based on a design by Aldo Brovarone. Its main feature was to have a coupé configuration with three front seats, the central one for the driver. This solution was also taken up years later by McLaren F1. Part of the mechanics was borrowed from the Ferrari 365 P2, a racing car of the same years. The Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale was presented at the 1966 Paris Motor Show as a dream car and, the following year, a second model was built, commissioned by Gianni Agnelli. Many of its external features will be found in the later Ferrari Dino 206 GTs and 246 GTs.
