As usual, the Geneva Automobile Salone was the European launch pad for post-war Turin cars. The Fiat 1100 TV Trasformabile is no exception, presented to the public at the 1955 edition to increase the varied range of the 1100/103, starting with the sports mechanics of the TV version (Turismo Veloce). The Fiat 1100 TV Trasformabile is a fascinating two-seater spider, designed by Carrozzerie Speciali, directed, in those years, by Eng. Fabio Luigi Rapi. Following the taste of the time for this kind of cars, the TV Trasformabile is inspired by the American style with: large chrome grille, bumpers with bolts, panoramic windshield and white wall tires. In the interiors the references of the overseas are in the goblet-shaped steering wheel and in the two-tone reclining seats.
