Ford Falcon Clan

The Falcon Clan was a two-volume coupe sedan prototype designed by Sergio Sartorelli, based on an American Falcon model, and had been the first example of Ford’s relationship with Ghia, which had worked extensively with Chrysler in the 1950s and early 1960s.

Vehicle Overview

The Ford Falcon Clan was designed by Sergio Sartorelli at Carrozzeria Ghia in Turin, Italy. The Falcon Clan was equipped with a 4261 cc V8 engine with 260 horsepower and generated a top speed of 190 km / h. In its bright interiors with impeccable finishes, five passengers could comfortably sit on seats equipped with safety belts and, by reclining the backrests of the rear seats, a large flat compartment was obtained which allowed to carry many additional luggage and various sports equipment. By opening the tailgate, almost also with the roof, the Ford Falcon Clan offered an additional loading floor on the top.
