Iso Rivolta Lele

The Iso Rivolta Lele by Bertone.

Vehicle Overview

The Iso Rivolta Lele was built by Bertone on the 2700 mm wheelbase chassis of the Iso GT and was a two volume car commissioned as a one-off by an American customer, who unveiled it for the first time at the New York Motor show in April 1969. The mechanics were typical of the Iso Rivolta (Corvette V8 5733 cc engine that put out 304 hp at 4800 rpm) and the body was designed by Marcello Gandini, who gave it a big, bright four seat cockpit, a long bonnet and a solid rear end with a generous rear axle overhang; a long, full ashlar ran along both sides, riding to the roof to lighten the generous rear volume. With a length of 4650 mm, a width of 1780mm, a height of 1350 mm and a weight of 1380 kg, the Iso Rivolta Lele could reach 230 km/h.
