Lamborghini Miura Roadster

The Lamborghini Miura Roadster one-off.

Vehicle Overview

The Lamborghini Miura Roadster was born as a concept at the 1968 Brussels Motor Show, where it managed to amaze Ferruccio Lamborghini himself, so much so that it came close to production, which was later declared impossible by the company. Designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, it is a one-off whose chassis number does not even appear in Sant’Agata’s official records. Later, the the Miura Roadster was painted green and given to the International Lead Zinc Research Organisation, which after exhibiting it in Paris, Los Angeles, Detroit, Tokyo, London and elsewhere, turned it over to the Boston Museum of Transportation in 1981.
