SPA 23 S Bertone
Giovanni Bertone made his debut in the world of the automobile in 1921 by creating a body for a four-seater tourer of distinctly sporting character for an SPA 23S chassis.
Vehicle Overview
The SPA 23 model, with a four-cylinder mono-block engine of 2724 cc (40 hp), made its first appearance in the market in 1920 and remained in production until 1925. The wind cutting profile of the radiator, a type that was widely used at the lime, was also adopted by Bertone for the pronounced V-shape of the windscreen. The flow of the wing-like mudguards front and rear was elegant joining them together in a single design that gave lightness to the sides.
