Auriga Collection

Introduce

The Auriga Collection is one of the most refined and carefully curated private car collections in Europe, based in Korbach, Germany. Assembled by a German industrialist and historic racer with a passion for motoring heritage, the collection focuses primarily on rare, historically significant sports and racing cars, particularly from Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and other iconic marques from the golden era of motorsport.

Among the most notable cars in the collection are the 1954 Ferrari 250 Monza Scaglietti Spyder (chassis 0442M), a rare V12-powered racing barchetta, and the 1951 Ferrari 212 Export Vignale Cabriolet (0110E), a concours-winning example of early Ferrari elegance. Also present is the imposing 1959 Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series III by Pinin Farina, representing the pinnacle of Ferrari’s bespoke grand touring luxury. Beyond Ferrari, the collection includes the historically important 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B (P3), a Grand Prix-winning monoposto originally campaigned by Scuderia Ferrari during the interwar years.

What sets the Auriga Collection apart is not only the significance and rarity of the vehicles but also the quality of their preservation and presentation. Most of the cars are fully restored and shown at the highest levels of international concours. In 2025, the Alfa Romeo P3 earned “Best of Show” at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, a testament to the collection’s stature in the collector car world.

With each vehicle representing a carefully selected piece of automotive history, the Auriga Collection is both a tribute to mechanical artistry and a celebration of racing legacy, standing as one of the premier historic car collections in the world.
