Vehicle Overview
The Alfa Romeo Astral was designed by Rodolfo Bonetto and was based on a 1900C chassis. In 1953 the Milanese coachbuilder Boneschi decided to create a spider version of the 1900C for the Turin motor show, which was called Astral and which featured a futuristic design inspired by American sedans. A second was sold to Rafael Trujillo the dictator of the Dominican Republic.
