Balbo B400

The Balbo B400 was presented at the 1953 Turin Motor Show as a small 2 seater roll-top coupe.

Vehicle Overview

The Balbo B400 features a 398cc 14.9bhp 2 stroke twin cylinder engine and was rear-mounted in unit with the gearbox and differential. A prominent styling feature was the two tone paint, an American-style chrome ‘jet-intake’ ornament on the nose and a Landaulet style roof which could slide back. It never passed the prototype stage and the year after it presentation at the 1953 Turin Motor Show, Carrozzeria Balbo closed its activity.
