The Lancia Aurelia B53 Balbo was a extremely laborious work for the restorer due to the many difficulties and the lack of documental reference of this car. Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Balbo in 1952, as the execution of an early design by Francesco Scaglione. It seems that the famous designer got inspiration for this creation of his when designed the lines of the rear top of the Giulietta Sprint. It shares its mechanical part with the B21 sedan with the Nardi change to suction manifolds. Watch our video interview with the Lancia Aurelia B53 Balbo here.
