Simca Sport 8
This Simca Sport 8 is baby Ferrari 166 designed by Stabilimenti Farina.
Vehicle Overview
Designed by Stabilimenti Farina, manufactured by Facel-Metallon (mainly in aluminum) in very small quantities. The almost identical body design was also used for a Ferrari 166 INTER built by Farina in 1949 and delivered to Roberto Rosselini. This Facel Simca is in fact also the successor to the legendary Cisitalia 202. At the Monte Carlo Rally 1950, the coupes (factory-supported with the famous drivers Trintignant and Jean Behra) came fourth and fifth.
