Vehicle Overview
The Fiat 1500 Supergioiello was the evolution of Ghia’s Gioiello body designed by Giovanni Michelotti. This speciment built using a Fiat 1500 chassis, painted in dark green, was exhibited at the 1949 Geneva Auto Show and at the 1949 Rome and Villa d’Este concours d’Elegance where it won the category prize. A similar body was used on a Lancia Aprilia chassis.
