Carrozzeria Riva had a very long history lasting from the middle of the 19th century until the 1970s. Originally a horse-drawn coach factory, it later became an important producer of commercial vehicles, though its production was very eclectic, ranging from woody-wagons to advertisement-cars.During the 1950s its sports cars competed with those of the best period coachbuilders andd they were well known fot their artisanal excellence.
