Aguzzoli – Condor
.
Vehicle Overview
Built on an Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ chassis and powered by the Giulietta SZ’s engine. The Condor was commissioned by Giovanni and Sergio Aguzzoli, wealthy father and son of which the car bears it’s name. Sergio Aguzzoli, Alfa Romeo dealer based in Parma, forces his own workshop to built a prototype car called the Giulietta Condor Aguzzoli. Manually, purely functional with a bumperless plexi body – all evidence of the desire to reduce the weight for the racetrack. A distinctive feature of Condor was a centrally placed engine, in front of the rear axle – a very new solution for that time. The body was made by Drogo aka “Sports Cars” from Modena.
