Vehicle Overview
The Alfa Romeo 155 GTA was born in 1992 and created by the Abarth workshops was derived from the vehicle that triumphed in the most important touring car championships at that time. This included the DTM (special 1993 victory) where Mercedes, BMW and Opel raged. Alfa Romeo 155 GTA was a special car. With mechanics derived from the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione. With permanent all-wheel drive, intercooler cooled by water spray jet. And 6-speed gearbox and braking system derived from Formula 1. The 155 GTA Stradale face as a medical car in the 1994 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. It was displayed at the Bologna Motor Show. It was supposed to be made in small series, but Fiat at the time deemed it too costly to put it into production. The design was done by Synthesis Design based on the series model made by Ercole Spada.
