Vehicle Overview

The Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint built by Carrozzeria Ghia and designed by Giovanni Michelotti, was built with this body style in very few speciments (3 are known to exists), a similar body with some differences on the mudguard was also made. It was unveiled at the 1954 Paris Motor Show. This speciment, chassis 01089, was after sold to the Lionel Corporation in New York. After some time, it was rediscovered in Los Angeles and underwent a complete restoration by Robert Thalman. Despite having only traveled 40,000 km since its creation, it was showcased at Pebble Beach in 2005. The following year, the Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint was put up for sale by the Blackhawk Collection during their annual Pebble Beach Exposition Sale.
