Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 GT Cabriolet Touring

In 1949 Carrozzeria Touring showed the elegant coupe Villa d’Este, heir of a family of sporting cars on the 6C 2500 Super Sport chassis, which has an immediate success. Derived from this sport car is an open version, built on the 2500 GT chassis, with the powerful SS engine on the long Sport chassis.

Vehicle Overview

This cabriolet is produced in a few units, and only a pair are known today. This specimen, found in South America, was awarded with the Coppa d’Oro at the 2001 Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance, followed by a deep restoration which brought it to the original color: a two-tone paint (silver gray-night blue) that highlights the shape of the bodywork.
