After its racing success, chassis #412.004 underwent a series of transformations that added to its historical significance. The car was rebodied as a Spider by the famed coachbuilder Pininfarina. This new body featured innovative pop-up headlights, designed by Mario Revelli, specifically for Count Salvi del Pero. The sleek design and engineering prowess of the car earned it the category prize at the 1939 Turin Elegance Concours. Later, the car was rebodied once again, this time in Switzerland, where it was transformed into a Berlinetta Sport.
