Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC

In the intentions of the Alfa Romeo management, the Giulia GTC should have represented the spider version of the new Giulia range, completing the renewal of the cars belonging to the old Giulietta range. The maquette of the car was prepared by Bertone simply by removing the roof from the Giulia GT coupé designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

Vehicle Overview

The paternity of the Giulia GTC belongs to Bertone who built the first prototype, but the series production is carried out by  Touring coachbuilder in Milan. The Giulia GTC is an Alfa Romeo convertible that few remember, none other than the convertible version of the Giulia GT, little is left in the collective imagination of the Italians who preferred the Giulietta Spider and the subsequent Duetto. The Giulia GTC was unveiled at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show.
