Anadol A9 Bertone

The Anadol A9 appeared in the early 1980s as a Bertone design and became Anadol’s latest prototype.

Vehicle Overview

The Anadol A9, a 4-door sedan model, had a modern design by Bertone. The rear of the vehicle resembles the Peugeot 405, which was developed later, but the overall appearance of the vehicle was very similar to the Volvo sedans launched in the mid-1980s. The wheels were also designed in a progressive manner. This type of rims was used in European models that were released in the 1985s. A new and modern logo has also been developed for the A9. However, the Anadol A9 could not take its place on the production line for various reasons such as the FW11 and Contemporary models. The prototype produced was also destroyed. Production with the Anadol brand was stopped in 1984 as a result of Otosan’s new production agreements with Ford Motor Company. Otosan today produces Ford passenger cars.
