The Ferrari 250 Europa Cabriolet Pininfarina: Chassis 0311EU is a one-of-a-kind Ferrari 250 Europa Cabriolet that features a convertible body designed by Pinin Farina. While the overall styling is similar to the coachbuilder’s coupe body, there are several small differences between the two, including flared wheel arches, a more sculpted windscreen mount, and unique tail lights. Originally finished in ICI metallic Shell grey with green upholstery, the car made its debut at the 1954 New York Motorshow on the stand of Ferrari’s American distributor Luigi Chinetti. After changing hands a few times, the car was eventually painted a dark metallic red in the 1990s before being acquired by its current owner in 2002. The car was then restored to its original paint scheme and was featured in the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Although it was entered for display purposes only, the unique 250 Europa remains a stunning example of Pinin Farina’s coachbuilding prowess.
