Vehicle Overview
The Ferrari Superamerica 45 was requested by Peter Kalikow. It is a on-off Ferrari roadster that participated at the Concorso d’eleganza Villa d’Este 2011 as a prototype. The car is a nod to the 400 Superamerica, and 45 means the 45th year since Peter Kalikow’s first request to Ferrari. The car has two air intakes on the hood and echoes the styling from the P540 Superfast Aperta, although there are many differences; the engine is a 6,000 cm³ V12 at the front. It was designed by Pininfarina; the body style is similar to that of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano from which it is derived.
