Ferrari – 250 Europa GT Vignale

.

Vehicle Overview

This 250 Europa GT of 1954 built was ordered by Princess Liliane de Réthy, second wife of King Leopold III of Belgium. Build by Vignale, Giovanni Michelotti designed an elegant coupé characterized by a large wrap around windscreen in which the A pillars has negative inclination (also used on the Chevrolet Corvette). The car found wide appeal also through the widespread press advertising of the Turin coachbuilder. That was the last Ferrari build by Vignale in the golden age of collaboration with the Maranello company.
