The legendary Italian racing car Bizzarrini return

The legendary Italian racing car Bizzarrini returns to a new generation of collectors and enthusiasts, with a re-birth in 24 examples of the car that marked the collaboration between Giotto Bizzarrini and Giorgetto Giugiaro in the Sixties, and crystallised the company's legacy, the 5300 GT.

To revive this historic association, and to bring it into the present day in a natural and dynamic way, Bizzarrini entrusted Giorgetto Giugiaro with @gfg.style to design another car, a unique contemporary machine to honour its founder's commitment to engineering excellence, pure forms and true automotive artistry, joining the 5300 GT Revival Corsa.

Boneschi presented this Aurelia B50 at the 1951 Turin motor show, originally in black and cream leather. After 17 years Boneschi bought back the car for himself and repainted it in amaranto with beige woolen. 25 years later the father of the actual owner, who is a Fiat dealer, bought the car for his collection.

Like other Japanese brands that encountered difficulties to create their design, Hino joined forces with the Italian bodybuilder Michelotti. Based on the Contessa 900, this elegant 2 + 2 coupé was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1962. It was again shown in New York in the spring of 1963 and then in Tokyo the same year. The left steering wheel was a sign of the strong desire to eventually export this model to europe and the U.S.. The mechanics are borrowed from the basic sedan, but reviewed by the italian Nardi, the 893 cc engine develops 45 hp at 5,500 rpm. A limited production of 1000 copies was planned in Italy but the production cost were prohibitive. Unfortunately, it remained a one off, but it can be considered as a prototype for the later Contessa 1300. Forgotten for many years, it was found and restored in the early 2000s.

Pasquale Ermini unveiled at the Sanremo elegance concours, better know as “Rassegna internazionale della carrozzeria”, the 1380 Coupé: a granturismo one off equiped with a 1380 cm3 engine and a Pietro Frua designed body. It was displayed later also at the 1954 Turin Motor Show. According to several sources, the car was rebodied into a cabriolet body some years after.

Pininfarina, Stabilimenti Farina and Viotti produced respectively Cabriolet, Coupé and Giardinetta (Station Wagon) - in limited editions - which Lancia has included in its official sales list. Cabriolets and Coupes are built on the B50 chassis, while the Viotti Stationwagons were built on the B51. At the end, the Coupés of Stabilimenti Farina were very few, while the production of Cabriolets and Giardinettes reaches more significant quantities.
