Fiat – 128 Roadster Moretti
.
Vehicle Overview
The Moretti 128 Roadster was unveiled by Moretti at the 1969 Turin Motor Show. The Turin coachbuilder was the first to produce an open car based on the Fiat 128, using the classic 1,100 cm³ engine. It featured a removable (rigid, two-piece) targa roof. The performance was fair, similar to the FIAT model from which it derived (it could go from 0 to 100 km / h in 15 seconds and exceed 150 km / h). Built in the factories in via Monginevro in a semi-artisanal way and in a very limited number of specimens (less than a hundred), it had an elegant and aggressive line. The interiors could be customized with many accessories (sports steering wheel, electric windows, leather upholstery …).
