The project originated from the Zagato’s and Lamborghini’s partnership with the idea to build a car that would raise its value in time. Unveiled at Villa d’Este, the 5-95 – the name recalls the 50 years anniversary of the Bull and the 95 years of the Milanese Atelier – is based on the model that turned Lamborghini from a niche manufacturer to a large industrial concern: the Gallardo. The Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato, all in carbon fibre, expresses the values that are typical of an ‘instant classic’, a fascinating and rare car that is considered a collector’s item right from the start.
