This Lancia Aprilia Coupé Bertone was built according to the architectural layout a/ready widely in use. Numerous special bodies on the Aprilia chassis presented a widening of the front doors, made necessary by the shortness of the engine compartment, a characteristic that permitted the advancement of the driving position and better overall habitability. The doors’ external hinges were much in evidence, in open contrast with the perfectly smooth sides of the standard production saloon by Lancia.
