The 1952 Lancia Aurelia B52 Coupé one of the only 98 chassis produced by Lancia, all bodied by different coachbuilders. This is a one-off by Carrozzeria Bertone on a perfectly proportioned Giovanni Michelotti design. Displayed by Bertone at the 1953 Turin Motor Show. In 1951, the carrozzieri also worked with the platform of the 650 Aurelia, which Lancia built with a lengthened wheelbase of 2910 mm. With its custom-built body and sophisticated mechanics – a V6 1750 cc engine that generated 56 hp at 4000 rpm – the Aurelia became one of the most coveted and expensive cars on the market.
