Maserati 3500 GTI Spyder
Chassis
The Maserati 3500 GT Spyder by Vignale.
Vehicle Overview
The Maserati 3500 GT Spyder chassis AM101/109.001 is a one-off masterpiece crafted by Carrozzeria Vignale. In 1964, Vignale proposed and advertised a sleek, updated version of the Maserati 3500GT, producing only this single example. The chassis was sent to Vignale and completed in January 1965, with the bespoke body commissioned for Giuseppe Simini of Milan, Italy, who took delivery on July 1, 1965. This unique vehicle has been part of the Rick Grant Collection since 1976, acquired at a Kruse auction in Cincinnati for $10,000.
