O.S.C.A. V12 Zagato

The O.S.C.A. V12 Zagato was one of three chassises with 4,5 litre V12 engines that OSCA made (s/n 4500, 4501 and 4502). Zagato designed the body. Some source say it was owned first by Luigi Potti of Milano (who had the chassis delivered in 1952 and then commissioned Zagato to build the body).
Vehicle Overview
The OSCA V12 Zagato is said to have been rebodied to spider, raced by Clemente Biondetti in 1953 (GP Supercortemaggiore, did not finish), and put in the French museum Henri Malartre in Lyon. #4502 was entered (did not appear) by Louis Chiron at GP Monza on 16 Sep 1951- OSCA V12 Zagato was entered (but did not appear) by Luigi Potti for the 6 April 1952 GP Premio del Valentino in Torino. A book has it that Potti sold it to piemontese winemaker Paolo Cordero di Montezemolo (uncle to Ferrari CEO Luca Montezemolo) before it became a spider. Montezemolo was on the list for Aosta – San Bernardo on 25 July 1954.
