Vehicle Overview
The VinFast LUX SA2.0 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Vietnamese automaker VinFast from 2019 to 2022. This 5+2-seater vehicle is built on the BMW X5 (F15) platform and designed by the renowned Italian design firm Pininfarina. It was unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show alongside the VinFast LUX A2.0 sedan. Production of the LUX SA2.0 began with a pilot run in March 2019, followed by full-scale production in September 2019 at VinFast’s Haiphong factory. Initially priced at VND 1.415 billion (approximately US$61,552), the price was later adjusted to VND 2 billion (about US$86,956). The LUX SA2.0 is powered by a 2.0-liter BMW N20B20 turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with an 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission, delivering a blend of performance and efficiency typical of luxury SUVs. The VinFast LUX SA2.0 is a 5+2-seater mid-size luxury SUV produced by Vietnamese automaker VinFast. It is based on the F15 BMW X5. The LUX SA2.0 made its global debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.
