Alfa Romeo – 2600 Cabriolet Studionove
.
Vehicle Overview
In 1960, coachbuilder Boneschi started a collaboration with the industrial designer Rodolfo Bonetto which gave birth to several futuristic concept cars with the “linee tese” design language. This Alfa Romeo 2600 Cabriolet was the 9th vehicle in this style (here the name ‘Studionove’ with its badge on the rear flanks). Certainly unusual the missing Alfa Romeo scudetto on the front grille, and very boxy lines for that time, but we can say that Boneschi somehow anticipated the styling that we later found in the 70s and 80s.
