Vehicle Overview

The Audi Nanuk was designated by Italdesign Giugiaro by taking the styling of the Audi R8 and the Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour. It was inveiled at the 2013 Frankurt IAA. The Asf (Audi Space Frame) aluminum frame system was chosen for the chassis, combined with a body made of Cfrp (Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer) panels. All this was done to maintain both low weight and high strength. The same elements were reused for the interior, with the addition of leather inserts. The powertrain fitted to the car is a Volkswagen 5.0 V10 turbodiesel with dual supercharging consisting of a variable oil pump and Audi Valvelift System continuous variable valve timing. Managed by a 7-speed S tronic transmission, the engine delivers 544 hp and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque at 1,500 rpm. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches 305 km/h as a top speed. The suspension is double overlapping triangles and employs Adaptive Air technology, which changes the set-up based on ground conditions provided by various sensors. The rear end of the Audi Nanuk has been fitted with Integral Steering.
