The Bentley B3 was a bespoke creation commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei, known for his collection of unique and luxurious automobiles. Designed by the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina, the B3 was based on the Bentley Continental R. Pininfarina entrusted the production to Coggiola, a specialist in low-volume, high-quality automotive manufacturing. The Bentley B3 was an exclusive model with only twelve units produced, reflecting the Sultan’s penchant for exclusivity and luxury. The production run included two cars built in 1994 and ten more in 1995. Each B3 was meticulously crafted to meet the exacting standards of the Sultan and his family, featuring unique design elements and luxurious appointments that set them apart from standard Bentleys. In addition to the B3 coupes, a special cabriolet version, known as the B2 Cabriolet, was also created. This variant offered an open-top experience while maintaining the elegance and performance characteristics of its coupe counterpart. The B2 Cabriolet further demonstrated the flexibility and creativity of Pininfarina and Coggiola in catering to the unique demands of the Sultan’s collection.
