Fiat 1400 Landaulet Savio
The Fiat 1400 Landaulet made by Savio, had a folding rear roof portion. Something very unique at that time, that became a Savio trademarked exclusive.
Vehicle Overview
Carrozzeria Savio proposed this concept also on the Fiat 1900 basis and it was considered too unique in Italy to have imitators and followers. The basic good looks of this car were molded as per Savio’s tradition, with a long rounded tail, smoothly integrated fenders and simple front end featuring a wide air intake. Some design elements were taken directly from across the ocean but always done in a very sober manner, keeping its italian style.
