Vehicle Overview
The Fiat Hidalgo 1000 was a low and very sporty coupé based on the Fiat 850, designed by Eurostyle intended as an alternative to the 850 coupé of the second series designed by Eurostyle. Its engine was increased to 1.0 liter capacity. An unique design feature was the long hood with its rectangular, relatively close together front headlights under large acrylic glass covers. The public premiere took place at the 1968 Turin Motor Show. It remained a one-off.
