The Bentley Continental Flying Star by Touring Superleggera: A true sports car, roomy enough to join a shooting party or a golf tournament with elegance and style. An out-of-the-ordinary Shooting Brake that comfortably accommodates four people with a trunk capacity worthy of a family car. Bentley Continental Flying Star is powered by a 6-liter W12, capable of a maximum output of 610 horsepower with an impressive 750 Nm of maximum torque. Ensuring maximum grip is an intelligent all-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Touring Superleggera built no more than nineteen Flying Stars all sold out, each one born from the direct cooperation between the customer and the design team. Price of the Flying Star? 590.000 euro, it is not clear if donor car included.
The Flying Star is a type of body created by Touring Superleggera introduced at the 1931 Milan Auto Show on a Isotta Fraschini 8B chassis which gained a great success. It was also adapted to other chassis maintaining the same basic settings. The trademark elements of this kind of bodywork were basically a thick chrome strip on the side that starts from the radiator, runs along the entire car forming a ‘V’ at the doors and descends on the tail.
