What made the Ford Focus CC or Convertible so special was the presence of an electrically retractable hardtop split into two steel parts, which could be opened or closed in 29 seconds. The convertible was equipped with the 1.6-liter petrol engine with 74 kW (101 hp), the 2.0-liter petrol engine with 107 kW (145 hp) and the 2.0-liter diesel engine with 100 kW (136 hp). The Coupé-Cabriolet underwent an aesthetic and technical update shortly after the other Focus models in April 2008; the new front adopted the Kinetic Design, in particular, however, unlike the other Focus models, the side and rear panels were not changed. In July 2010 the production of the Ford Focus CC was discontinued, which did not achieve good commercial success. Originally, the prototype was called Vignale by the Pininfarina designers and was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005; the Focus Convertible was built, designed and designed in the Pininfarina factories in Turin. It was Ford’s first convertible in Europe with a hardtop roof. In July 2010 the production of the Ford Focus CC was ceased, which did not achieve good commercial success.
