At the Turin Motor Show in 1951, Lancia displayed to the public for the first time the B20, a stunning high-performance coupe with attractive “clean” lines.

The Lancia LP01 (Lancia Posteriore 01) prototype was built by Carrozzeria Ghia and mounted a rear located V8 engine planned for a big saloon who went never beyond the prototype stage. This LP01 was built for Gianni Lancia’s personal use ; there were three front seats, with the steering in the middle. It somehow recalled the Isotta Fraschini Monterosa series by Touring and Zagato.
