Vehicle Overview

The Peugeot 308 GT Castagna, which was presented by the company as a kind of homage to green, has been finished with a flashy two-tone paint job. This car is predominantly painted in glossy forest green. However around the rear wheel arches it is painted a much lighter matte green. As for the interior of this particular Peugeot 308 GT, Castagna Milano used a lot of leather. Being an homage to green, the ceiling, front pillars and the top of the dashboard are all upholstered in green suede highlighted by green upholstery panels, apparently made of carbon fiber. Green, however, is not the only color that characterizes the interior of this car. In fact, there are also gray suede parts paired with caramel-colored leather. As a reminder, this car has a plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a 180-hp gasoline engine combined with a 110-hp electric unit for a total output of 225 hp. In recent years Carrozzeria Castagna unveiled several other one-off projects based on Peugeot such as the 2008 and the 508 Gris.
