The Suzuki SX4: The project that gave birth to the Suzuki SX4 and the twin Fiat Sedici started in the early 2000s when General Motors (shareholder of the Suzuki brand) entered into a joint-venture with the Fiat group for the production of passenger cars on the European market. The Suzuki SX4 was designed by Italdesign; among the details the front headlights that follow the family feeling introduced by the fourth series of Suzuki Swift in 2004, while the tail has large triangular shaped headlights. The large side glazing and the remarkably spacious cabin have been designed to ensure optimal onboard life. Compared to the Sedici, the SX4 differs substantially for the front and rear bumpers and for the different and more muscular design. The internal dashboard, on the other hand, is shared without changes by the Italian: the precise assemblies avoid the occurrence of annoying creaks while the materials used are of only modest quality. The design follows a regular pattern with the main controls of the audio system and climate control grouped in the central area, while the instrumentation behind the steering wheel is shared with numerous models of the Suzuki brand.
